Welcome to all postdocs and their families. The office of postdoctoral studies hopes you enjoy your stay here, and that you come by our office so we may help you navigate Cornell, help you solve any problems you might have, and help make your stay at the University more pleasant.
On this Web site, you will find information about Cornell-offered programs and services, and general information about the Cornell campus and the Ithaca community. The goal of the Office of Postdoctoral Studies is to monitor the status and needs of the postdoctoral campus community and serve as an advocate for postdoctoral issues to the Vice Provost for Research and Cornell's administration.
The office will support a Postdoc Association, which will help establish an identity for postdocs on campus. The office maintains a Postdoc Handbook outlining benefits and resources available to the postdoc community, this Web site, career services similar to those provided for graduate students, and specialized orientation sessions and social activities.
